God Of Food

"When the island first formed, two powerful beings were placed in charge of caring for the island’s plants & animals.

For a long time, the Gods have cared for the land by channeling their power and cultivating it into food.

One day, a terrible mold traveled across the island, infecting the Gods and poisoning most of the food.

They tried to stop it, but by then it was too late. The disease got to the Gods, and it was slowly chipping away at their sanity.

In a last ditch effort, they created a creature that could store and harness their power and hid it on an island, in the hopes that one day someone could use it to defeat the disease.

The Gods would eventually be fully infected, causing them to turn hostile towards all life on the island.

According to the prophecy, that creature still lies out there somewhere, waiting…"
